Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea Party | Hallmark Hotel Hull*

Mad hatters tea party - Hallmark hotel Hull

Recently I was invited along with a few fellow Hull Bloggers to trail the Hallmark Hotels’ Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea. I joined some fellow afternoon tea enthusiasts Kate, Megan, Ashton and Heather

'Ahead of the brand new Alice Through The Looking Glass film (out in cinemas end of May) be sure NOT to be late for this very important date as Hallmark Hotels Hull introduces its delicious quirky take on the quintessentially British tradition, with the arrival of its' Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea.'
Guests are invited to tumble down the rabbit hole and enjoy the whimsical sweet and savoury treats inspired by Alice's adventures either in the hotel’s lounge, or alfresco on the terrace over looking the panoramic views of the Humber Bridge and Humber Estuary.'

As you can see by the abundance of photos that I took, The Hallmark Hull Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea includes:

Assorted finger sandwiches/wraps: Ham & Pickle, Cucumber & Cream Cheese, Cheese & Chutney & Egg Mayo & Rocket
Home Made Mushroom meringues
Savoury Scotch Egg and Boiled Egg/Tomato Toadstool
Eat Me popping candy cupcake
Freshly baked Scones and Strawberry Jam, Lemon Curd & Devonshire clotted cream
Strawberry ‘Drink Me’ Syrup
Popping Candy
Pot of Tea or Coffee

The price for the Afternoon Tea is £17.50 however if you would prefer the High Tea which comes with a glass of prosecco is £22.50. This is served daily from 12noon – 4pm. We enjoyed this on a sunny Sunday afternoon sat outside. we where there for a good few hours chatting away and trying our best to eat the mass amounts. I always think that afternoon tea is just a snack and it won't be very filling, however I was very wrong! This is 100% enough for a full main meal and more.

I had such an amazing afternoon and I already want to go back. I would really recommend for everyone to go try this out as it is a great experience that can be shared with family and friends.
