Wedding details | Fuller Wedding 2018

After pretty much already planning out my wedding in my head (and on Pinterest) since I was about 14, I had a clear idea of exactly what I wanted for our big day. I knew the colours, I knew the theme, I knew who would be in my bridal party and so on.  Due to this the planning stages seemed fairly easy for us, we choose the right suppliers that suited our style. We chose the venue what would accommodate everything we wanted and the rest just came together nicely.

I knew I wanted a lot of floral arrangements so I searched for a florist and found Floral and Lace, it was like the Instagram of dreams when I found her page and knew that it was exactly what I would like. For the rest of the decoration and table centerpieces it had to be Gin themed! I’m actually writing a post all about my theme so I shall save the details for then, but in a nut shell we drank a lot of gin and saved all the empty bottle to create some cute centerpieces for the tables. my brother in law made us our cake topper which matched everyone's place names, I loved this idea as it was cute take home for our guests.

For the dress I had a bit of an idea in my head but ended up choosing something completely different which in fairness actually suited the theme of the day better. In certain lights it had a very faded blush tone, so next to the Bridesmaids dresses it looked gorgeous. My mini-maids dresses where hand made on Etsy and my Maid of Honours dress was from ChiChi clothing. I was unbelievably impressed how perfectly the fabric matched! We sorted matching coloured ties for the groomsmen bringing all the colours together. Speaking of the men, they wore navy suits with brown belt and shoes. To which they all look very handsome. We have recently seen some lovely suits on the Jacamo website which would have suited our wedding style perfectly so if you are looking for something similar I would recommend that you check it out.

My photographer is a family friend who I have known well over 10 years, it made perfect sense to have her photograph our day. She knew what we wanted and was very accommodating to our/my very long list of shots I wanted to capture. If you are looking for an East Yorkshire based photographer I cannot recommend her enough – her photography is stunning.
