Gusto Manchester A/W Menu Review

To celebrate the arrival of the autumn and winter season, Gusto has introduced a new à la carte menu filled with dishes to reflect the Gusto philosophy of making the everyday exquisite. Darren and I recently visited Manchester so we decided to take the opportunity to try out the new menu.

The tempting creations joining the menu include a wealth of delightful flavours, with carefully chosen fresh ingredients and sophisticated flavour pairings. There was lots of different options as there was a Christmas menu, the regular menu and a specific lunch menu. We decided on the two course lunch menu.

Dining at Gusto is an unmissable weekend treat with a new two-course menu served all day Sunday for £15.95.   Choose from rustic starters including chicken liver pâté and creamed cauliflower soup and a selection of refined main courses such as fillet of pork saltimbocca, mushroom risotto with truffle oil and Grana Padano.  Traditional Gusto favourites remain, including award winning pizzas freshly prepared in-house, deli boards, pasta, meat and seafood dishes as well as a range of liqueur coffees, desserts, fine wines and bespoke cocktails to complete your visit.

The hardest choice was of course the drink options. There was a huge selection to choose from and we decided on cocktails!

Mine was lovely, I really liked that it was sweet, Darrens was very strong so we decided to just have a coke after them due to us having to drive later in the day. We made our decisions and the food arrived pretty quickly.

I choose the chicken liver pate. I had never tried it at a restaurant so I was very curious as to whether or not I would like it. I wasnt actually too keen on it however I loved the presentation and was glad I had the opportunity to try something new.

Darren had the Bruschetta which again was presented well. He really enjoyed this and it was a good portion size.

For the main course I had a goats cheese pizza and Darren went for a burger with truffle fries. I was insainly jealous of the fires so he shared some with me. They where delicious. I loved my pizza too and it was super filling. We pretty much cleared our full plates.

The two course menu was £15.95 so a great price for delicious food.

We loved our experience and will defiantly heading back to try the other options. Thank you so much Gusto for having us we had a lovely time!
