#GeorgePartyTips | Outfit Inspiration*

When ASDA George asked me to get involved with there #GeorgePartyTips campaign I jumped at the chance! I have previously bought clothes from George so I knew that I liked the style and fit of them. I had a browse of the party pieces online and fell in love with so much. Its amazing how you can get a such good quality clothes for a great price. I personally have my own works Christmas party, my boyfriends, my birthday night, Christmas eve and Christmas day all to choose an outfit for so thankfully George has helped me out with this. Firstly I choose this dress from the fashion box range. I thought this was a great piece as its fairly simple but it has the detailed embellished neckline and you can add your own sparkling accessories. As well as sharing my outfit inspo, they have asked me to share my top tips with you all for the upcoming party season...

Take the dress code into account
Does your party have a theme? While some Christmas parties are simply formal wear, others require a little more creativity. Chat with friends and work colleagues what they are choosing and try to opt for a similar dress code. If people are going all out sparkle find something to suit your style.

Why sacrifice fashion for winter weather?
If you want to stay warm but also stylish without having to cart a coat around, opting for a long-sleeved dress could be the answer. Just like you would when shopping for a normal dress for a special occasion, look for a design that has lots of intricate detail. similarly wear tights! If you Christmas is more of a night out you dont want to be walking from bar to bar in the freezing cold!

Have a good time but don't go crazy !
No one wants to be the talk of the office the next day! Drink, dance and have fun but don't do anything in front of your boss that you may never live down and make the ground want to swallow you up every time you step in to work !

Take the essentials
You know, lipstick, powder, maybe a hair brush ? But why not add in there plasters and party feet just in case you want to keep on dancing but your new shoes hurt ? and maybe some deodorant too to avoid sweaty moments. You will be the envy of the ladies bathroom with all your sensible items !

Make sure you check back for a few more outfit shots featuring George at Asda :)

The Beauty Bible | Rules Every Girl Should Follow

Beauty is more than just a word - it is a lifestyle. If you want to look (and feel) good all day every day, it will take some work. That's why I'm sharing my beauty bible with you. Here are just a few rules that will help you when it comes to staying fabulous! I hope you like them.

1. Always wash your makeup brushes
Makeup brushes are excellent tools, but they can harbour no end of germs. If you want to avoid breakouts, you need to wash the brushes now and then. All you need to do is use some cold water and soap. Rinse the brush to make sure that it is clean of any foundation. Next, you should rub the soap onto the brush and rise again. When the water runs clear, it is as clean as a whistle. Leave the brush to dry on a paper towel. Check out my tips when washing make up brushes here!

2. Remove unsightly hair
If you have dark hair, you may find that it appears on your face or arms. Many people have this problem, but they don't need to struggle with it any longer. If you want to get rid of this issue for good, you could try the laser technique. I've been looking at the laser hair removal before and afters online, and I think it looks quite good. Of course, if you want this treatment, you will need to book yourself into a clinic. It should not take long to rid yourself of that hair forever. Check out my hair removal experience here!

3. Try out new looks now and then
Sometimes, your old look can get a little dull. If you want to stay looking fresh, it is worth trying new things now and then. One of the things that you might want to try is getting some new items for your beauty collection. If you have not heard of something before, it is well worth giving it a go. You never know, you may find something that suits you better than anything else.

4. Don't stress your hair too much
Straightening and colouring your hair has a lasting effect on it. If you stress your hair too much, it will thin over time. You need to do all you can to keep your locks looking as thick and healthy as possible. One of the easiest things you can do is use a deep treatment hair mask. When you put the moisture back into your hair, you will see that it looks better than ever! Trust me, I always use masks on my hair and it makes a massive difference.

5. Always cleanse before bed
If you don't clean your face before bed, you could have a serious problem. After all, some foundations can be quite heavy and may clog your pores up when you sleep. It is crucial that you develop a cleansing regime. When you clean your skin all the time, you will see that it always looks bright and beautiful.

What do you think of my bible here? Do you like it? Let me know if these tips work for you!

#KetchupCreations with Homeserve‏ | Food Blogging

In collaboration with Homeserve and the launch of their new blog Ketchup today I am sharing a recipe for an Insanity Burger !! Check out more yummy recipes on the Ketchup Blog !!

800 grams mince
olive oil
1 purple onion (large)
1 white wine vinegar (splash of)
2 gherkins
4 burger buns
8 back bacon rashers (smoked streaky bacon)
4 tsps mustard (American)
4 slices cheese
4 tsps tomato ketchup
1/4 iceberg lettuce
2 tbsps mayonnaise
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp Tabasco
1 tsp worcestershire sauce

Divide mince into 4 and, with wet hands, roll each piece into a ball, then press into flat patties roughly 12cm wide and about 2cm wider than your buns. Place on an oiled plate and chill in the fridge.

Next, finely slice the red onion, then dress in a bowl with the vinegar and a pinch of salt. Slice the gherkins and halve the buns. Finely chop the lettuce and mix with the rest of the burger sauce ingredients in a bowl, then season to taste.

Get a large non-stick pan on a high heat for your burgers and another on a medium heat for the bacon. Pat your burgers with oil and season them with salt and pepper. Put 2 burgers into the first pan, pressing down on them with a fish slice, then put half the bacon into the other pan. After 1 minute, flip the burgers and brush each cooked side with ½ a teaspoon of mustard and a dash of Tabasco. After another minute, flip onto the mustard side and brush again with another ½ teaspoon of mustard and a second dash of Tabasco on the other side. Cook for one more minute, by which point you can place some crispy bacon on top of each burger with a slice of cheese. Add a tiny splash of water to the pan and place a heatproof bowl over the burgers to melt the cheese – 30 seconds should do it. At the same time, toast 2 split buns in the bacon fat in the other pan until lightly golden. Repeat with the remaining two burgers.

To build each burger, add a quarter of the burger sauce to the bun base, then top with a cheesy bacon burger, a quarter of the onions and gherkins. Rub the bun top with a teaspoon of ketchup, then gently press together.

As the burger rests, juices will soak into the bun, so serve right away!

These where so delicious and really filling too ! We could only have one burger each! What do you think to this recipe ? Let me know if you try it out!

Ted Baker via. My Bag online | Review*

I really want to feature this bag in an outfit post however due to bad weather recently I haven't had chance :( So instead I thought I would review the  Ted Baker Harley crosshatch chain cross body bag ! I choose this beautiful mink colour over the black as I already have my black Vivienne Westwood bags that I use for nights out etc so I fancied something a bit different.

The My Bag site is really easy to use and navigate and you are bound to find something you love. Im eyeing up many more so I may create a little wishlist post in the future ;).It arrived in a box which I found a bit strange but I was happy that it was nicely protected on transit. It then had plastic wrap and then the dust bag. I love the little touch of the dust bag. ' Always judge a bag by its cover' I feel like this just makes it feel more high end and luxurious.

The lining of the bag is equally as beautiful as it is silk with a black a white floral pattern which again add a luxurious high end touch. I know other people would not see the inside but its always lovely when you are reaching inside. The Gold chain sits comfortably on your shoulder and it is a bit more interesting than your average chain strap as it is sort of linked together. The gold zip has the trademark Ted Baker T and it has 'Ted Baker' embellished in gold on the front.

The price was £69.00 including delivery which I think is fairly priced for a designer bag which is such lovely quality. Although this bag is simple for me it is perfect. It looks very pretty and feminine and adds a little touch of colour to your favourite little black dress. I can not wait to take this in to the party season :D

*This bag has been sent for review purposes however, all opinions are my own.

Candle of the Month | October

I LOVE this candle too much! I need to find more from this range as it have been one of my favourites of the year. It smells incredible even when it isn’t lit I can still smell it. I have had it in my kitchen for a while now and it has burnt so so well. It has burnt so perfectly, like hasn’t left wax up the side or anything. I think I do prefer the sweet fruity scents especially preferred to likes of cinnamon and woody scents! It would truly recommend this brand and I would recommend T X Maxx if you are a candle lover as I have found some amazing ones in there for great prices too.
